St Margarets exhibition

Created an installation for St Margarets church, will be up for a week

I will be invigilating on Wednesday if anyone fancies a chat about the work or any other work there.

started making my own repeat patterns, which along with other designs, will be available on tees and other material (think aprons, cushions) in the months to come.

I Sea Love creation

First video/video editing! Creating an installation piece on the back of a house. Never used any video editing software before, self-taught myself and I think the video ain't too bad!

Hippies, Biggie and Mustard Cafe

Piece on the wall (masking tape underneath!) was nice to work with the environment again.

Self. Dots + Paint

experiment with putting paint behind an image then dotting over. quite please with it! might add more dots later. need more ideas for actual subject matter, any suggestions?

Squid Slide projector

After experimenting with the slide projector, I wanted to project an image onto a surface I could paint/draw/etc. around. As I found out, however high the image definition, the image still came out as spots very close up. So I decided to create an image of a colossal squid with just red and black dots (the main colours)


I also experimented with how angles distort the image.




Vicky Hardman also took a nice photo of the bulb in the projector after it has been on for a while.

Halloween at The Mustard Lounge

Got a set down Mustard Lounge on halloween! should be a proper good night so y'all get down thar n give me props!

sticker experimentation

idea of an almost brand-like repetition that artists tend to use, from Warhol to Banksy. created into a sticker, the image is of the recent floods in Africa, with water being thrown out of the house replaced with colour. make up your own mind what its meaning is!

Recent drawings

Few drawings im working on. BBC4 documentary series 'Why Beauty Matters' has persuaded me to work in a more traditional stlye, but still incorparating more contemporary themes and experimentation within them and the workings.

Geek Chic

bit late but thought would put them up. night went proper well, everyone proper got down towards the end!

Frame work

got an idea from French artist Žilda http://palimpseste-rennes.blogspot.com/ about putting frames in urban spaces, how art can be in a museum rotting away for enternity, whereas art on the street is short lived, almost like a installation piece, before it is gone over, removed or wears away.

Instead of creating new art though, I am highlighting the my love for composistion, particuarly the ignored, which when focused upon can be more visually satisfying than another. Pretentious I know, but it is what it is.
